Summer Recreation Leader – Parks & Recreation

The Township of Moon is accepting applications for multiple positions as Summer Recreation Leader with Moon Township Parks and Recreation. Summer Recreation Leaders are expected to supervise and maintain the safety of the children participating in the programs. They will also be primarily responsible for leading various summer program activities. This work is performed under the direction of the Parks and Recreation Youth Program Coordinator (YPC) and the Moon Parks and Recreation Staff. Successful candidates will be responsible individuals age 18+, have PA State required background checks in hand, have the ability to understand and to follow oral and/or written directions, as well as the ability to work independently and cooperatively and possess good communication and customer service skills. Successful candidates must be able to work a flexible work schedule, 30-40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 7:00am - 6:00pm, June through August 2025. CPR/First Aid Certification is preferred, as is secondary education or prior experience working with children.
