Summer Recreation Leaders
Full Time- Seasonal (June -August)
The Township of Moon is accepting applications for multiple positions as Summer Recreation Leaders with Moon Township Parks and Recreation. Summer Recreation Leaders are expected to supervise and maintain the safety of the children participating in the Summer Camp program. They will also be primarily responsible for leading various summer program activities. This work is performed under the direction of the Parks and Recreation Youth Program Coordinator (YPC) and the Moon Parks and Recreation Staff.
Successful candidates will be responsible individuals age 18+, have PA State required background checks in hand. Have the ability to understand and to follow oral and/or written directions as well as the ability to work independently, cooperatively. They will also have good communication and customer service skills and be able to work a flexible work schedule, 30-40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 7:00am - 6:00pm June 5 through August 11 2023.
CPR/First Aid Certification is preferred as is secondary education or prior experience working with children.

Part-time
Part-Time Parks Security Guard- Parks and Recreation
The Township of Moon is accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Parks
Security Guard with the Parks and Recreation Department. The PT Park Security
Guard is responsible for maintaining safety and security at the Township’s 3 major parks
through the education and enforcement of Park Rules and Regulations and local
ordinances. The Security Guard will have regular interaction with the public and must
possess good interpersonal and observation skills.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
Proven experience as a security officer or guard is preferred.

Part-Time Custodian
The Township of Moon is accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Custodian position.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED. Must have a Pennsylvania driver’s license at the time of employment. Ability to maintain CJIS (Criminal Justice Information System) Clearance throughout term of employment. Understanding of basic cleaning techniques. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to courteously interact with employees and members of the public. A strong commitment to public service. Must have flexible hours and ability to work up to 29 hours a week.
