ASSISTANT TO THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNTIY PROGRAMMING

The Township of Moon is accepting applications for the full-time position of Assistant to the Director of Community Programming. The Assistant to the Director of Community Programming provides support to the Director of Community Programming in the management of all local origination and community programming for Moon Community Access Television (MCA-TV). This position assists the Director with maintenance and operation of the television studio and the portable equipment used in its operation. This position facilitates the production and distribution of public access, educational, and governmental programming over the cable system serving the Township to foster an informed citizenry through public access programming, respond to community needs, address local government issues and help bring education into the home. Work performed is primarily of an independent nature, during regularly scheduled hours, evenings and weekends and may involve additional hours as needed.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Television Production, or a closely related field and two years of related experience. Annual salary up to $45,000 DOQ

Part-time

Part-Time Parks Security Guard- Parks and Recreation

The Township of Moon is accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Parks Security Guard with the Parks and Recreation Department. The PT Park Security Guard is responsible for maintaining safety and security at the Township’s 3 major parks through the education and enforcement of Park Rules and Regulations and local ordinances. The Security Guard will have regular interaction with the public and must possess good interpersonal and observation skills.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license. Proven experience as a security officer or guard is preferred.
