The Township of Moon is seeking qualified applicants for the key department head position of Director
of Finance. This position reports directly to the Township Manager. The Director of Finance is
responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Township’s day-to-day and long-term
financial operations including: management of Township finances, preparation of annual budgets,
oversight of any Township borrowing and issuance of debt, investment of funds, maintaining
appropriate policies and internal controls, financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance,
administration of Township pension plans, and serves as the Township representative for financial
audits. Typical duties of the Director of Finance include various accounting activities, payroll, collections,
fiscal compliance, and other assignments as directed. Attendance at meetings of the Township
Supervisors, which take place in the evening is required. Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in
accounting/finance required. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial management in a supervisory
capacity, preferably for a municipal or public sector organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office,
specifically MS Word, Excel and Outlook and experience using financial software systems. The individual
selected will have strong management and people skills, as well as strong written and communication
abilities. Salary dependent upon qualifications + comprehensive benefits package. Interested applicants

The Township of Moon is accepting applications for the part-time position of Parks
and Recreation Program Coordinator with the Parks and Recreation Department.
Duties include managing and directing parks programs, supervising program and
event staff and assisting the Parks and Recreation Director in a variety of planning
and administrative tasks. The successful candidate will be able to work with
diplomacy and tact in welcoming the public and when performing duties. Must be
able to work a varying work schedule with weekend and evening availability.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Parks and Recreation with
a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a leadership position conducting
recreational activities for a community recreation program. A high school diploma with
prior experience in the above may also be considered.
