The 911th Airlift Wing is conducting a four-day exercise, September 9-12. The exercise includes the usage of simulated explosives and alarms. No real ammunition is used during the exercise. If members of the community see smoke or hear sirens coming from the base, they should not be alarmed.
The exercise will help ensure Airmen are trained and ready if the nation calls. The exercise puts each Airman’s specialty to the test while in a simulated deployed environment.
Questions should be directed to the 911th Airlift Wing public affairs office at 412.474.8511.
