Permanent Glass Recycling Station
Moon Township residents can soon conveniently recycle glass bottles, jars, and jugs following the installation of a permanent recycling dumpster at the Public Works Garage lot on Stevenson Mill Road.
Beginning in March, residents can drop off all colors of glass bottles, jars, and jugs during daylight hours seven days a week thanks to a partnership between Moon Township and the Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC). This program providing reliable, uninterrupted glass recycling access is made possible by funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
More details will be announced soon. For questions, call PRC at 412.488.7490.
