At its workshop meeting to be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., in the Moon Township Municipal Building, 1000 Beaver Grade Road, Moon Township, PA 15108, the Moon Township Board of Supervisors will continue a public hearing on and thereafter consider the adoption of, and if appropriate enact, a proposed ordinance entitled:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MOON, ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING THE MOON TOWNSHIP CODE OF ORDINANCES, ZONING CHAPTER 27, PART 1, ESTABLISHING A DEFINITION FOR LIGHT DISTRIBUTION, AND EXPANDING THE DEFINITION OF FLEX SPACE, PART 2 AND REVISING THE USE TABLE, AND PART 8 REVISING CERTAIN USE CONDITIONS IN THE BP ZONING DISTRICT.

The proposed ordinance is summarized as follows: Section 1 establishes the definition of Light Distribution and expands the definition of Flex Space; Section 2, inserts Light Distribution into the “Use Table”; Section 3 amends Conditional Use criteria for Flex Space; Section 4 establishes that chapters and sections of this ordinance are severable if for any reason are declared invalid; Section 5 repeals all inconsistent ordinances; Section 6 establishes the effective date of the ordinance.

A complete true and correct copy of the proposed ordinance is on file and may be examined by the public at the Moon Township Municipal Building, address listed above, during the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM Wednesday and 8:00 AM to Noon Friday. A copy of the proposed ordinance is also available for inspection at the newspaper publishing this legal notice and at the Allegheny County Council Clerk’s Office, Allegheny County Courthouse, Pittsburgh, PA.
