Sinks/Toilets, Cabinets, Fireplace mantles, Wood items must be at least 4 ft. in length, no nails or screws, Doors, Windows, and mirrors must have a wood frame. Hardware, etc.

Electronics/Appliances - No Fee
Computers, Laptops,Computer monitors, Printers, copiers, fax machines, scanners, Computer peripherals, keyboards, speakers, Radio, telephones, Hard drives destroyed no additional charge, Stoves, Air conditioners, Dehumidifiers, Microwaves, Refrigerators, TVs.
This event is a Recycling Event, not a Household Hazardous Waste Collection event. We are collecting materials that can be reused in some form. Household Hazardous Wastes (HHW) are those wastes produced in our households that are hazardous in nature, but are not regulated as hazardous waste, under federal and state laws. Please check Zero Waste Pittsburgh web site for Household Hazardous Waste Collection info or call PRC at 412.488.7452.

1. Any fossil fuel or materials used in collecting fossil fuels.
2. Any infectious or biological wastes or equipment that contained them.
3. Any media contaminated with oil.
4. Any liquid.
5. Any chemicals, oils, or powders.
6. Any equipment that contains chemicals of any kind.
7. Any equipment that contains asbestos.
8. Any equipment that contains radioactive components (e.g. smoke detectors)
9. Any equipment that contains PCBs (e.g. fluorescent light ballasts).
10. Thermometers
11. Vacuum Cleaners
12. Loose Batteries (all types)
13. Loose Ink and Toner
14. Loose software
15. Personal Hygiene Items (e.g. razors, toothbrushes).
16. Any device comprised mainly of wood (excluding console televisions and radios).
17. Miscellaneous trash (e.g. Holiday decorations, manuals, instructions)
